Dave Grohl over samenwerking met Slash

Triple J Music News heeft een artikel online gezet waarin Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters, Them Crooked Vultures) uitlegt hoe zijn samenwerking met Slash op Slash's nieuwe solo album tot stand is gekomen.

“Slash’s kid and my kid went to the same school together, and so there was this big school fundraiser and Slash called and asked if I’d Come up and jam a song. So I come up and jam at the school fundraiser with Slash. We played Surrender by Cheap Trick. But then he kept calling and was saying, hey, I’m doing this solo record, do you wanna play on it? And I said, yeah man, I’ll play drums on it for sure.”
