At The Gates brengt DVD set uit

Vandaag is de 3-disc DVD set "The flames of the end" van At The Gates uitgekomen in Europa. De DVD laat de succesvolle reünie tour van de band zien. De DVD's bevatten het volgende:

Disc 1: 'Under a Serpent Sun - The Story of At The Gates' - a brand new
documentary with a running time of over 2 hours, chronicling the band's
whole career with interviews and footage, filmed and directed by AT THE
GATES guitarist Anders Bjorler.

Disc 2: 'Purgatory Unleashed - Live at Wacken' - a 75-minute live show from
the band's now-legendary performance at Wacken festival in 2008.

Disc 3: 'Only the Dead Are Smiling' - 26 rare and archive live performances
of AT THE GATES playing in locations around the globe from 1991 - 2008.

At The Gates frontman Tomas Lindberg geeft commentaar: "This is it! The final goodbye! It took some time - mainly because we, and especially Anders, put his heart and dedication into this project 100%. It was very important for all of us that this would be a fitting testament for the band, and a true disposition of our time in the scene. It brings a smile to me every time I think about the summer of 2008, a special moment that we now all can relive again and again, the feelings are so overwhelming. I am so proud to have been part of this. Thanks to everyone who came out and made it so special and everybody who never stopped believing."
