Zanger Eddie Macias heeft besloten Ankla te verlaten.

"It's been a great two years with the band as a lead singer and many great shows and experiences with Pepe [José Clarke Magaña], Tony [Castaneda], Oscar [Santiago], Ramón and myself. We wrote great tunes, as you guys hear them on the 'Persistence' EP [which came out in 2009].

"Like everything in life, it has a beginning and it has an end in order to continue with my musical career which has been very diverse throughout the years (bands like PUYA in early stages, SITH, CROMAFACTOR, EDDAHED, SONS OF YOU, THE DEEP BURRITO and my new project with Martin Latimer called MADERA NEGRA).

"With this note I am informing you guys that I will not be able to continue my duties as a lead singer for the band ANKLA."
